Signal HQ acquisition by Bombora

KO SaaS Client Signal HQ Acquired by Bombora

KO client Signal HQ, an enterprise-ready intent data dashboard company, was recently acquired by Bombora, a leading provider of B2B intent data.

The KO team of Ryan Sykora and Ben Oelsner represented Signal HQ in the company’s sale to Bombora, including negotiating the initial term sheet, guiding the company through the due diligence process and negotiating the definitive purchase agreement.

“KO was instrumental to Signal HQ’s success from inception to acquisition. As a bootstrapping founder, I felt it was worth every penny to make sure our Master Service Agreement, License Agreements, Partner Agreements, and many more documents were written properly and protected our interests,” said Alex Greer, founder, CEO and CTO of Signal HQ.

KO supported Signal HQ from its formation through enterprise contracting to the company’s acquisition.

“It was incredible how few redlines we encountered selling enterprise contracts as a startup. The upfront effort proved especially worthwhile during the due diligence phase of selling the business,” said Greer. “Often the acquiring company finds inconsistencies that require the acquiree to go back to their customers and rectify the language. In our case, we encountered virtually no such issue and were able to close the acquisition much more quickly as a result. We couldn’t have done it without you, KO!”
