KO Client soona Closes $3.5M Financing

KO client soona, a same-day photo and video production company, recently closed a $3.5 million Seed 2 round. The funding will support the company’s continued expansion and product development. KO partner Charles Ciaccio, attorney Elizabeth Ho and corporate paralegal Caitlyn Knudson represented soona in the financing.

KO also represented soona in the development of the Candor Clause, an open-source legal disclosure to promote gender equality in venture capital. The clause has been featured on NPR, and soona estimates that it has been used in more than 50 venture capital deals since its creation in 2019. soona’s co-founder and CEO Elizabeth Giorgi also recently testified before Congress about the Candor Clause.
