Elizabeth’s practice focuses on business transactions, including company formations, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financings. Prior to joining KO, Elizabeth practiced in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she represented banks, other institutional lenders, borrowers and sponsors in complex secured and unsecured financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loan facilities, acquisition financing and project financing. Elizabeth has advised clients operating in a variety of industries, including renewable energy, medical devices, financial services, software, and apparel.
Elizabeth earned her J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she received the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award and the Nathan Burkan Memorial Award for the best paper on copyright law. She also served as the president of the JD/MBA Student Association.
Prior to attending law school, Elizabeth worked as an economic consultant focused on intellectual property issues. She received her B.S. and B.A., with distinction, from the University of California, Berkeley.
