KO Client WeightWatchers Acquires Assets of Peoplehood

KO client WeightWatchers has acquired the assets of Peoplehood, a community-focused support group which was founded by SoulCycle cofounders Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler.

Weightwatchers will be bringing Julie on as chief experience officer to lead expansion of its longtime support groups into a virtual model.

“Community is what has underpinned this business throughout and it is as important, if not more important today than it’s ever been,” says WeightWatchers CEO Tara Comonte.
