KO Team Participates in Colorado Gives Day

KO Team Contributes to 19 Organizations on Colorado Gives Day

2020’s challenges have highlighted the need to help organizations that serve others. KO strives to give back to our community year-round through our ongoing support of and participation in a number of local non-profit and charitable organizations.

Many of our team members volunteer their time or serve on the boards of organizations that support a range of causes, including at-risk women and babies, food security, education and the arts, emergency family assistance, animal suffering and more.

In honor of the holiday season and as a gesture of our appreciation, we made charitable donations to 19 organizations that have a special meaning to the KO team on Colorado Gives Day. ColoradoGivesDay.org is a program of Community First Foundation, a foundation that connects donors to more than 2,900 Colorado nonprofits. Those nonprofits will also benefit from the Colorado Gives Day Incentive Fund of $1 million, which helps match donations.

In 2019, KO contributed to the record-breaking $40 million raised on the statewide day of giving. This year, KO’s team contributed to what is expected to be another strong year for the organization. This year, each of the following organizations received an employee donation as well as KO matching funds:

  • Emergency Family Assistance Association
  • The Conscious Alliance
  • Planned Parenthood
  • Parker Task Force
  • I Have a Dream – Boulder County
  • Mother House
  • Food Bank of the Rockies
  • Colorado Public Radio
  • Denver Dumb Friends League
  • Struggle of Love Foundation
  • Colorado Succeeds
  • Eco-Cycle
  • Alzheimer’s Association
  • Tennyson Center for Children
  • Denver Rescue Mission
  • Horizons K-8 School
  • Adoption Options
  • Denver Food Rescue
  • Young Americans Center for Financial Education

Thank you to our clients and partners for your support in 2020. Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season from the KO team!
