Michael is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, structuring joint ventures and partnerships, and corporate governance matters. Michael has advised clients operating in a variety of industries, including software, consumer products, financial services, medical devices and fashion.
Prior to joining KO, Michael practiced in the Colorado office of Cooley LLP and the New York office of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Michael graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and received a BA in Environmental Studies, summa cum laude, from Yale University. Outside of work, Michael loves skiing, hiking and hanging out with his husband, Sam, and mini bernedoodle, Bagel.
