
Cory is a commercial attorney who advises clients on a wide variety of legal and business matters, including drafting, structuring, and negotiating commercial transactions. He represents clients, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, on matters concerning intellectual property protection and commercialization. Having experience as both in-house and outside counsel, Cory provides practical advice that achieves business objectives while effectively managing legal risk.
Prior to joining KO, Cory served as a transactional associate at a national law firm. He also spent several years as corporate counsel for an international medical device company based in Milan, Italy. Cory received his law degree from the University of Colorado Law School. While in law school, Cory participated in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and was an associate editor of the Law Review. Cory graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with degrees in Political Science and Geography.
Outside of work, Cory enjoys entertaining his German Shepherd (Maggie), cooking America’s Test Kitchen recipes, perusing the stacks at Twist & Shout Records, and doing crossword puzzles with his wife.
