KO Client Loonen Launches & Raises $6M to Set New Standard for Bottled Water

KO client Loonen, the first purified spring water that’s glass-bottled, third-party certified, and tastefully balanced with minerals, recently launched and secured $6 million in funding led by Brand Foundry Ventures.

According to the announcement, nearly half of U.S. tap water contains PFAS, with over 55% of systems testing positive for lead, and no federal limits for microplastics in bottled or tap water.

Loonen aims to set a new standard in bottled water by bottling water from protected mountain springs in California, transporting it in stainless steel, purifying through a chemical-free physical membrane filtration, and then precisely mineralizing it with lab-tested elements like trace magnesium and Celtic sea salt for a naturally crisp taste. According to the announcement, each batch is verified by accredited third-party labs, with results accessible via a QR code on every bottle and box, and it is available nationwide on Amazon and in select retailers across California with broader distribution in 2026.

KO attorneys Samantha Pjesky, Michael Wysolmerski, and Wes Lang supported Loonen in the formation and financing. Read more in the announcement and in BevNet.
