KO Achieves 100% Participation in Legal Aid Foundation’s 2020 Associates Campaign

This year’s Legal Aid Foundation Associates Campaign raised nearly $230,000 statewide in just six weeks. KO associates achieved 100 percent participation in the campaign, making KO one of just 33 firms to achieve this milestone. KO’s involvement was led by attorney Cory Helton.

The campaign raises money for Colorado Legal Services (CLS), which serves clients living at or below 125% of the federal poverty guideline. In 2019, CLS provided free legal services for civil cases to more than 25,000 Coloradans from every county in the state.

“Despite the pandemic interrupting the start of this year’s campaign, associates across the state rallied to participate and generously contributed to the campaign,” said Helton. “Our team was proud to participate, especially because we expect to see a growing need for legal aid as Coloradans face increasing financial hardship due to COVID.”
