John is a transactional attorney specializing in providing strategic counsel to clients in the life science industry. John has extensive experience in negotiating a wide array of agreements in the life sciences sector, including clinical trial agreements, collaboration agreements, sponsored research agreements, licensing agreements, and service agreements.
Prior to joining KO Law, John practiced in the Denver office of Arnold & Porter specializing in life science transactions related to clinical research. John also worked for a large academic medical center in Boston, Massachusetts, where he negotiated clinical and nonclinical contracts, and served as general counsel for an emergency medical services provider in rural Kentucky. John earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law as well as a Master of Health Administration from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Massachusetts, and Kentucky.
John enjoys all things outdoors such as sport climbing, hiking, backpacking, and kayaking – usually with his fiancée, Brittani, and two dogs, Max and Lucky.
