John Kyed

John is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on business transactions and corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and debt and equity financings.

Prior to joining KO, John practiced in the Denver office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP, where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions and debt finance transactions. John was also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He has also been recognized in the latest editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America.

John earned his B.A. in Classics from Stanford University, where he attended on a varsity football scholarship, and his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he graduated first in his class.

In addition to practicing law, John loves hunting, fishing, cheering for the Colorado Rockies and enjoying life with his daughter Ruthie and amazing wife Polly.
