Dan represents clients in connection with a wide range of complex commercial and technology transactions, including, those concerning intellectual property, software, product sales and distribution, manufacturing, technology development and transfers, reseller and distributor relationships, consulting services, procurement, outsourcing, hosting, e-commerce, partnering, and real estate leases. For many clients, Dan serves in the capacity of outside general counsel and as the primary contact for legal advice and assistance.
Dan’s clients range from early stage startup companies to public and multinational corporations, operating in a wide range of industries including software, information technology, clean tech, life sciences, manufacturing, consumer products, and retail.
Prior to joining KO, Dan served as general counsel for a venture-backed technology company. Dan received his law degree with a certificate in entrepreneurial law from the University of Colorado Law School where he was an editor of the Law Review. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with honors, from Pepperdine University. Dan is admitted to practice law in Colorado and California. Dan is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional, having received the CIPP/US designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals
Dan enjoys travel, mountain sports, and spending time with his family.
