Chase is a commercial attorney whose practice focuses on data privacy and security. He helps clients navigate complex issues arising from the use of data in consideration of the evolving regulatory landscape. Chase routinely assists clients to understand and implement compliance strategies to address consumer data privacy laws as well as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Prior to joining KO Law, Chase was a member of the corporate and securities team at Snell & Wilmer and served as In-House Counsel & Director of Regulatory Compliance at Arizona’s statewide health information exchange, Health Current. Chase received his undergraduate degree and J.D. from Arizona State University. Chase is also a part-time professor of law at the University of Arizona College of Law where he teaches a course focused on health information technology.
Outside of the office, you will generally find Chase exploring one of many hobbies including skiing, mountain biking, guitar, or another new interest of the week.
