KO Client June Acquired by Weber

KO Client June Life, Inc., a smart appliance and technology company that created the June Oven and JuneOS, has been acquired by Weber. Weber has acquired 100 percent of June, including its proprietary software, technology, intellectual property, and the June Oven line of products and accessories. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed in the news release.

KO had been serving as the outside general counsel for June and led the legal function in connection with Weber’s acquisition of June. Key KO team members were Jon Taylor, Sam Pjesky and Keenan Weatherford.

“KO served as a strategic partner in helping efficiently and smoothly close our transaction with Weber,” said Matt Van Horn, CEO and co-founder of June. “KO’s deep understanding of our business and goals gained through its work as outside counsel for June led to effective, streamlined negotiations throughout the transaction process.”​​
