Lisa McDiarmid

As a contracts manager at KO Law Firm, Lisa specializes in drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts including, but not limited to, confidentiality agreements, services and master services agreements, consulting and professional services agreements, material transfer agreements, and clinical trial agreements and related supportive documents, such as informed consents and HIPAA authorizations.

Prior to joining KO, Lisa worked in the legal departments of several large pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including serving as Head of Contracts at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., and in similar capacities at Allergan, SCILEX Pharmaceuticals Inc., IACTA Pharmaceuticals, and more. Lisa leverages her extensive contracts and industry experience to help clients achieve their business goals in a practical, efficient manner.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) from California State University, Long Beach, and received her paralegal certification from the University of California, Irvine.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, reading grim-dark epic fantasy novels, and playing PC-based games such as World of Warcraft and Diablo with her husband.
