KO Client Simple Energy Partners with AES Subsidiaries and Investor

KO client Simple Energy, the leading provider of utility-branded marketplaces and customer engagement software, recently announced its partnership with The Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L) and Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL), subsidiaries of The AES Corporation (AES). AES Next, another subsidiary of AES, has also become an investor in Simple Energy.

As a result of the partnership, DP&L and IPL will incorporate Simple Energy’s digital platform into their customer engagement operations for nearly one million consumers. DP&L will deploy Simple Energy’s fully-integrated platform and IPL will use the Simple Energy Marketplace. Both deployments will allow consumers to improve their energy efficiency.

AES Next enhances Simple Energy’s investor base with its electricity sector, renewable energy and energy storage expertise.
