
Sahara Williams, P.E., CIPP/US is an engineer, an entrepreneur, a commercial attorney, an animal lover, and a small business advocate. She operated her own engineering and construction management firm for nine years and served as the executive director of a nonprofit equestrian learning center for youth for five years. She now works as a Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Attorney and serves as the Director of Membership Engagement for the non-profit organization Women & Hi Tech.
Sahara earned her J.D. from the IU McKinney School of Law. She graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and earned a MS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. She is licensed to practice in Indiana. *Sahara is not admitted to practice law in Colorado. When working for Colorado clients or on matters of Colorado law, she works as a law clerk supervised by a member of the Colorado bar.
Sahara is originally from Cleveland, Ohio (#DawgPound, #Cavs, #Guardians) but permanently resides on the west side of Indianapolis. Sahara enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the great outdoors. She is an alumnus of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series (Class XXXVII), the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series (2012-2013) and the IBJ 2013 Forty Under 40 Class.
