Danijela represents clients in drafting, structuring and negotiating complex commercial, intellectual property and technology transactions. She specializes in a wide range of agreements relating to software, hardware, data, content, SaaS and cloud-based services, independent contractors, consulting services, suppliers, sales, distribution and reseller arrangements, strategic partnerships, client/agency relationships, sponsorships, talent, employment and more. Danijela also advises clients on product development, data protection and privacy, digital marketing and advertising, and legal issues related to social media, innovation and disruptive technologies. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
Prior to joining KO, Danijela practiced in the transactional group of Paul, Weiss in New York, served as in-house counsel for a global communications agency and a venture-backed IOT start-up, and advised high-growth start-ups as a solo practitioner. Danijela has a strong understanding of the challenges facing fast-growing companies and partners with clients to meet their goals strategically and practically. Danijela received her law degree from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from Grinnell College. When she’s not practicing the law she loves, she enjoys yoga, running, non-fiction, travel and other adventures with family and friends.
